Amazon India launches MSF for sellers

Amazon India has introduced Multi-Seller Flex (MSF), a 2000 sq ft storage site. This stockpiling locales are solely for its venders in small cities and towns, who are need of support in putting away their stock and preparing client orders. These MSF storage centres are very smaller as compared with Amazon’s huge fulfillment centres (FC), and it would be operated by approved by authorized third party service providers. And the ordinary FCs would be operated by Amazon.

Through this program, Amazon partners with local entrepreneurs to give stock storage to venders which they could use to handle their client orders while the e-commerce giant would help with delivery and logistics for dealer shipments. Presently, near 50% of Amazon India’s sellers are from non-metros. The MSF program has been in pilot mode for as long as year and a half and has been officially launched today.

Srikant Sreeram, chief, Seller Flex, Amazon India says, “The launch of MSF will likewise reduce the time to launch sellers products on the marketplace essentially and will likewise help in eliminating significant operational costs”.
