SEBI launches SMARTs program for investors

Markets regulator Sebi on Wednesday released the Securities Market Trainers (SMARTs) application, an initiative aimed toward improving investor education and attention.

“In the prevailing state of affairs of uncertainty in financial growth and further basically buoyant market, there may be a dire need to in addition ramp up the investor education and focus efforts,” Sebi Chairman Ajay Tyagi stated.
