Triller parent acquires Fire TV

TrillerNet, the parent organization of U.S. short video social application Triller, told Reuters on Wednesday it has acquired combat sports game streaming service Fite TV and marketing platform Amplify.ai.

The deal come as Triller looks for an edge in its opposition against bigger opponent TikTok, which has been extending in the United States after the public authority backtracked on plans to drive its Chinese parent ByteDance to divest it.

Amplify.ai co-founder Mahi de Silva will turn into the new CEO of TrillerNet. He will succeed Mike Lu, who will become President of TrillerNet, as indicated by individuals familiar with the matter.

TrillerNet as of now utilizes Amplify.ai to give sponsors and influencers information on how buyers connect with content and advertisements. Silva had joined Triller’s board in October 2018.

The securing empowers TrillerNet to give marks more precise data on how buyers connect with promotions and make purchase, as it tracks commitment with influencer content. Pepsi, McDonalds and L’Oreal are among the organizations that go through money to advertise on Triller.
