VodaIdea launches pay per view service

Vodafone Idea in alliance with Hungama Digital Media Entertainment has turned out pay per view services on its applications Vi Movies and TV application. Vi continues in accordance with other OTT platforms like Zee5, Eros Now, Book My Show which permit clients to watch the content at a expense.

Vi will be the primary telco to launch pay per view, a move from its the current contributions, that permit clients to watch content at no additional expense according to their re-charge or post-paid plans.

“With the launch of the economy and entertainment business, new content utilization models are arising that permit clients to watch single content at a particular cost,” said Avneesh Khosla, head advertising official of Vi.

“Our creative and organization drove content methodology has assisted us with embracing a telco-first methodology for content adaptation in this immensely untapped market. We anticipate working with similar partners like Hungama Digital, to grow this segment,” he added.
