Amazon India to offer financial support for frontline teams

Amazon India on Monday said it has launched a COVID-19 Relief Scheme (CRS) under which it will give financial help to frontline trams of associated recruited through staffing agencies and other eligible employees with a COVID-19 stipend and additional hospital reimbursements.
The COVID-19 stipend is a one-time award per representative of ₹30,600 for in-house COVID care, clinical gear, or drug related costs, Amazon India said in a blog.
On the off chance that representatives surpass their most extreme protection cover because of COVID-19 related hospitalization costs, Amazon India will likewise also repay protection endorsed clinic expenses up to ₹1.9 lakh, it added.
Amazon India said it is empowering every one of its workers and bleeding edge groups to get vaccinated at the earliest possible opportunity and settling on vaccination a prepared decision for its teams.
The on -site vaccination events have begun with those on the frontline and will before long extend to all employees, it noted.
