Demand for undergrads surges amid a pandemic revival
Demand for undergrad talent has reached an all-time high this year with top recruiters flocking campuses.

Placement officials and teachers at some of India’s driving undergrad schools said there was an unprecedented race for talent, with many applicants securing the absolute most significant salary packages ever that these institutions have received, as per a report by Economic Times.
Organizations were provoked to augment the recruiting pool because of the improved necessity for ability in the midst of the reopening of businesses after the Covid pandemic.
There is a greater focus on students this year as the war for talent is increasing across areas and organizations face record attrition, said individuals engaged with the recruitment cycle in some of India’s leading institutions including Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) and Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) in Delhi, St Xavier’s College in Mumbai and Loyola College, Chennai, and Christ (Deemed to be a University) in Bengaluru, as per the ET report.
As organizations fought for top slots on campuses, average compensation rose 20-40% while the number of offers jumped 80-130%, the report said.
