Facebook rolls out new messaging, business tools for brands

Facebook Inc is rolling out new ways for organizations to find and chat with likely clients on its applications, the social media organization said Thursday, as it tries to turn into an online shopping destination.
The new features will help Facebook, currently, a leader in digital advertising, offer personalized shopping experiences to its clients, said Karandeep Anand, VP of business products at Facebook.
Organizations can now include a button on their Instagram profiles to allow individuals to send a WhatsApp message to the organization with a single tick.
Integrating WhatsApp is especially significant for clients in nations like India and Brazil, where the Facebook-claimed informing application is generally utilized, Anand said.
Facebook said it will start testing the capacity for brands to send emails through Facebook Business Suite, an element that allows organizations to deal with their essence across the social media website’s applications, to improve on how organizations reach customers.
It will likewise test new work accounts to let employees manage business pages without needing to log in with their personal accounts.
