Govt announces setting up of Single Window portal for pensioners

Govt has declared the setting up of a solitary window gateway to help retired people and obsolete older residents.
Tending to the 32nd Meeting of Standing Committee of Voluntary Agencies (SCOVA) for Review and Rationalization of Pension Rules, for example (CCS) (Pension) Rules, 2021, the Union Minister Jitendra Singh said the Portal won’t just empower consistent contact with beneficiaries and their relationship the nation over yet will likewise routinely accept their bits of feedbacks, ideas as well as complaints about a brief reaction.
The goal of the Common Pension Portal is to make a solitary window computerized component for retired people to raise their complaints and get the equivalent settled without moving toward various experts face to face, said Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Personnel Public Grievances and Pensions.
All Ministries mindful to process, endorse or dispense annuity contributions, are interlinked to this framework, and complaints are sent after appraisal to the concerned Ministry/Department for goal.
Pensioners and Nodal officers can view the status of the grievance online till disposal in the system, said a statement issued by the Personnel Ministry.
SCOVA is a useful platform for consultations with the stakeholders, i.e., the pensioners through their associations and concerned ministries/departments. It provides the associations an opportunity for raising their issues concerning pensioners’ welfare etc., directly before the concerned ministries/departments.
