HDFC Bank and securities invests USD 1bn in Stockal

HDFC Bank Ltd, India’s driving private banking institution, and HDFC Securities Ltd put USD 1 Million in Borderless Softtech Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of US-based Borderless Investing Inc., which runs Stockal, India’s biggest worldwide investment platform as a part of its Pre-Series A funding.

This partnership will widen the organization’s subscriber base by expanding growth opportunities to permit Indian investors to gain access to more than 5500 US-recorded organizations fractional stocks, and expert-curated Stacks and ETFs. HDFC Securities was the main financial institution to join forces with the platform to assist with driving its development in the nation post its onset in India making it the No.1 platform for seamless investments in the US Markets.

The organization is wanting to utilize the funding to turbocharge its growth making it a platform of choice for Indian Investors.

Talking on this association, Ms. Smita Bhagat, Country Head, HDFC Bank, said, “Our funding decision depended on the strength and resilience the Stockal platform has shown in India, particularly in past months. We trust their capability to extend and develop the global investment platform in the country with their strategic solutions and digital-first thinking”.
