Indian Overseas Bank introduces online allotment of locker facility
Public sector Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) on Tuesday announced the launch of the online allotment of safe deposit locker facility.

The facility is now conveniently accessible online within two minutes, requiring just a few clicks on the bank’s portal – www.iob.in. This ensures that both customers and non-customers can avail locker facility from the comfort of their homes, ‘Any Time, Any Where,’ according to a statement from the Bank.
 
Ajay Kumar Srivastava, managing director and CEO of IOB, said, “This feature not only saves time for our valued customers, including both Gen Z and senior citizens, but also enhances accessibility and efficiency. This digital upgrade is a testament to our commitment to providing the best banking solutions.”
 
New customers and non-account holders can create a login using their mobile numbers and email IDs to avail of the locker facility with the bank. Customers are required to visit their preferred branch to submit their KYC details and provide the necessary supporting documents.
