January 06, 2022
At the point when numerous Bollywood and sports celebrities are busy planning the launch of their digital collectibles, or non-fungible tokens (NFTs), actor investor Rana Daggubati and Anthill Ventures author Prasad Vanga have backed Indian-American entrepreneur Abinav Varma Kalidindi’s Indian metaverse organization, Ikonz.
Established in August 2021, Ikonz is a growing long-term financial stability platform that will help IP proprietors, artists, and other setup symbols deal with their digital assets.
Kalidindi said Ikonz will go about as a 360-degree platform for IP proprietors, to assist them with exploring the complexities of the innovation, comprehending the various method for monetization and upscaling.
NFTs, which are blockchain-based advanced resources, saw a gigantic take-up in trading a year ago. According to information tracker DappRadar, NFTs timed more than $23 billion in trading last year, and 2022 has begun with somewhere around three NFT deals of more than $5 million each.
And, while NFTs are yet to take off in India, Kalidindi believes the country will be the next frontier and presents a “huge opportunity”.
