InMobi plans to acquire Appsumer
Mobile advertising major InMobi has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a performance insights platform Appsumer.

As a feature of this agreement, InMobi will gain a 100 percent stake in Appsumer and the group and the organizer will join InMobi, Navin Madhavan, General Manager of Growth Platforms at InMobi, told BusinessLine.

Further, Appsumer will continue to operate independently as a subsidiary in the worldwide InMobi organizational structure. Shumel Lais, CEO, and Founder of Appsumer, will join InMobi and keep on leading the division. The full team will join InMobi to ensure customer service continuity and further develop and support the analytics and automation offering under the InMobi umbrella.

Targeted at mobile application advertisers, Appsumer is a platform enabling advertisers to get comprehensive insights on their marketing spend across channels. A portion of its existing customers includes brands like Miniclip, Picsart, and Viber.

Appsumer platform features incorporate no-code integrations with more than 100 marketing channels, customizable dashboards for customers to build and track goals and KPIs, and everyday processing of marketing data for accurate measurement and informed decision making.
