Microsoft rolls out talent programme to empower Indian youth
Microsoft launched an internship programme for undergraduates to enable them with technology skills for job. Unveiling the Future Ready Talent programme, the Tech giant said it a partnership endeavour for students in their second year and upwards. The programme aims to empower 1.5lakh undergraduates, who will join the workforce between 2020-24. 
 
Under the programme, the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Futureskills Prime-a NASSCOM and MeitY digital skill initiative, GitHub and Quess Corp, along with Microsoft, will provide a holistic skilling platform, connecting skills to opportunity. 
 
Microsoft said in a statement, “The Future Ready Talent Programme has been designed keeping the learner at the centre. With the new framework, the programme will offer students end-to-end experience, from digital skilling to working on critical projects”.
 
As a part of this partnership, the tech giant will provide learning modules and certifications through its learning platform, Microsoft Learn, skilling students on different topics like cybersecurity, cloud computing & AI.
