MSME ministry launches SAMARTH to promote women entrepreneurship
A day in front of the International Women’s Day, the MSME Ministry on Monday sent off SAMARTH – a special entrepreneurship promotion drive for women.

Addressing the launch occasion, Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Narayan Rane said the MSME area offers plenty of opportunities for women.
 
He featured that the MSME Ministry, through its plans and drives, is consistently putting forth attempts to foster a business culture among women by offering a few extra advantages to them.
 
Rane declared that the drive will assist ladies with being confident and autonomous by furnishing them with self-employment opportunities.
 
Under SAMARTH, 20% of seats in free skill development programs, coordinated under expertise advancement plans of the service, will be assigned for trying and existing women entrepreneurs.
 
This will help in excess of 7,500 ladies in 2022-23.
 
Also, 20% of MSME business delegations sent to domestic and worldwide exhibitions under the plans for marketing assistance implemented by the ministry will be dedicated to women-owned MSMEs.
