Tata AIA Life Insurance partners with Common Service Centres

Tata AIA Life Insurance on Saturday said it has partnered with Common Service Centers which will give access to around 95% of gram panchayats in the country.
As a part of its effort to deliver much-needed life insurance protection cover to rural families and protect their friends and loved ones from life’s uncertainties, Tata AIA Life Insurance Co Ltd has partnered with Common Services Centers under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, the insurer said in a release.
With this partnership, the organization said it can engage in the organization of more than 4 lakh Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) at the last mile for the distribution of life insurance plans.
“The organization will allow Tata AIA Life Insurance to increase its scope to around 95% of gram panchayats, building in-roads to make life insurance accessible to the remotest areas of Bharat,” Tata AIA Life said.
Venky Iyer, Chief Distribution Officer and Head of Marketing, Tata AIA Life Insurance, said, “as of now, life insurance penetration stands at 8-10 percent across the country population in India. Our consistent endeavour is to make life insurance available to each Indian family, and this partnership will additionally strengthen our distribution efforts by assisting millions of clients in the remotest corners of the country through technology leverage and product innovation.”
