VISA launches creator program for next-gen entrepreneurs
Visa announced the launch of the ‘Visa Creator Program’, an initiative that expects to help digital-first artists, performers, fashion designers, and filmmakers strengthen their small businesses using non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to explore the new category of commerce, it said in a press statement.

Right now, nearly 50 million artists, musicians, and creators across the world publish content as a full-or part-time kind of income. With an expected market size of more than $100 billion, the creator economy is one of the fastest-growing categories of small businesses. To help this development today with the Visa Creator Program, the organization expects to assist creators with navigating the technology behind NFTs and have the option to all the more likely get what value it can open for digital ownership and monetization of creative assets, making it more accessible.
 
“NFTs can possibly turn into a strong accelerator for the creator economy,” said Cuy Sheffield, Head of the Crypto, Visa. “We’ve been concentrating on the NFT environment and its possible effects on the eventual fate of trade, retail, and virtual entertainment. Through the Visa Creator Program, we need to assist this with a new breed of small and medium organizations tap into new mediums for digital trade.”
 
Selected creators will join a companion-driven program designed to build and deepen their fluency with crypto commerce and traditional payments. The program is focused on supporting creators in five key areas, Technical and product mentorship, Community building, Access to thought leaders, Exposure to Visa’s clients and partners, Stipend.
