YouTube revamps its mobile app with new updates
October 27, 2020
YouTube today is revealing a progression of updates to its player page on cell phones. The progressions migrate a few components, include new highlights like an extended arrangement of signal based route choices and update existing ones, similar to video parts, in addition to other things.
Video sections were presented in May, as a simpler method to get to the “great part” of a video without having to physically quick advance. All things considered, makers can apply timestamps to their recordings that permit clients to rapidly bounce to a particular segment of a video or backtrack to rewatch a key part.
These sections are consequently empowered as a line of timestamps and titles, in view of part data the maker adds to their video’s depiction, starting at segment 0:00.
Today, YouTube is stretching out this element to incorporate another rundown see that lets you see a total rundown of the apparent multitude of parts remembered for the video, each with their own review thumbnail. You can get to this rundown see by tapping or tapping on the section title in the player, at that point hop to the aspect of the video you need to see by tapping the video chapter in the list.
