E-commerce companies step up campus hiring at B-Schools
Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, upGrad, Rupeek and CredAvenue, showed an all-time high appetite for talent from business college campuses this year, recruiting in multiples of last year’s numbers, company officials told ET.

Placement cells at the board schools, including the Indian Institutes of Management at Kozhikode and Indore, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, also confirmed the sharp jump in hiring by such companies this year.
Flipkart is increasing overall campus hiring numbers from business schools by 2.5 times this year over last year, said its HR head. Amazon is hiring the highest number of recruits from campus both from tech and the board schools together, said its representative.
Meesho is increasing its grounds consumption by twice, while upGrad is wanting to carry out multiple times the offers compared with last year to the management students and other graduates.
“For 2022, we are employing a large number of students, more than we have in the previous years, across tech and non-tech profiles,” said an Amazon representative in an emailed response. Amazon is recruiting students from IIMs, ISB, IITs, NITs, and other leading engineering colleges and B-schools.
