FMCG firms using own sites to gather consumer data

Brands like Hindustan Unilever, Mondelez, Tata Consumer Products among others are contacting buyers legitimately through their own sites to get information instead of online business firms like Amazon and Flipkart, said Beth Ann Kaminkow, worldwide CEO of WPP office Geometry.

Kaminkow said. “Numerous brands are contacting clients through their immediate destinations where they are utilizing their own foundation so as to assemble their own customer information as opposed to being required through a retailer as a third party”.

While the majority of these brands actually sell through e-commerce companies like Amazon and Flipkart, their own site permits them “to get things done on their own terms and to draw in with shoppers for more feedback”, she included.

Brands can try different things with new items, make membership services, new delivery forms and make further client relationship management.
