Powering digital transformation in India

In the midst of all our focus and efforts in staying safe, what we maybe missed celebrating is a significant milestone 1 July 2020. It was the fifth commemoration of the Government of India’s beginning of the ‘Digital India’ campaign. What we did, notwithstanding, is undeniably more huge, epic and emphatic.

The public authority made Digital India the key apparatus in keeping its residents, enabled, secure, solid and taking the country’s economy forward. The country’s national bank, the Reserve Bank of India, appraises that by 2025, payments through digital platforms will leap to 1.5 billion transactions, or ₹15 trillion every day.

The day-to-day transaction found the middle value of around 125 million preceding March 2020, a lot of it fueled by the government famed United Payment Interface, or UPI. To follow residents’ wellbeing and screen the spread of the pandemic, the government launched the Aarogya Setu, having a download hit of in excess of 127 million times, a declaration of how Digital is changing India quickly.
