Amazon India launches 11 fulfilment centres

Amazon India on Thursday said it is growing its fulfilment network in the country with the launch of 11 new stockrooms and development of nine existing facilities, a move that will bring about near 40% increment in storage in front of the upcoming festive season. These fulfilment centres (FCs) are situated across states like Maharashtra, Bihar, Gujarat, Assam, Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, a statement said.

These are designed to deliver a more brilliant, faster, and more reliable experience for its clients and sellers across the nation, it added.

“Some of these new FCs will be functional in front of Prime Day 2021 and all new FCs will be functional before the festive season, enabling clients to have what they need delivered at their doorstep,” Amazon India said.
