Apple to expand its retail play in India

After a close 100% development in deals a year ago, Apple is hoping to grow its retail presence in India, the push coming when it augments neighborhood assembling of iPhones in the country. The extension will be driven by its selective retail accomplices even as the organization settles work on its self-claimed leader store in Mumbai.

Apple-selective retailers say deals have effectively crossed pre-Covid levels, and development is on the cards. “We will open around seven new stores across north and west India,” Baljinder Paul Singh, head of Unicorn Infosolutions, told TOI here.

Unicorn is the organization’s biggest retail accomplice in India, and right now runs 29 deals stores and 21 help places. “Business has been solid, and interest for Apple’s items is sound across the arrangement of cell phones, MacBooks, iPads and watch,” Singh said.

Exploration firm IDC said Apple sold almost 2.8 million units (assessed) iPhones in 2020 at a development pace of 93%,

Regardless of the market being affected because of corona limitations. “Yearning for Apple brand stays solid, and we anticipate that the company should sign in comparable numbers in 2021,” Navkendar Singh, research chief at IDC, said.
