Asus bets on offline retail to add more retail points

Tech giant Asus is increasing its presence in offline retail, adding about 1,000 retail points over the next year as it is witnessing huge demand in the consumer & gaming segment.

The company had a 7.5 % share in the Indian PC segment in the September quarter as its products are available in 6,000 retail points along with online platforms. The company saw 39% growth in last year & Gaming has been a major driver of growth in the last few months.

Arnold Su said, “Company wants to continue powerful momentum. One of the major reasons for companies’ momentum is due to the company’s extended reach in the last few months, especially in the month of October.

Right now, Company has 1,100 such points of sale as well as 5,000 shops which takes the total to 6,000 retail points in India. The company has started onboarding offline retailers on digital platforms to help them connect with customers.
