AWS to invest ₹20,761cr for data centres

Amazon Web Services (AWS), the safe distributed computing foundation of American innovation monster Amazon, will contribute around Rs 20,761 crore (USD 2.77 billion) to set up various server farms across Hyderabad, Telangana Minister for IT and Industries KT Rama Rao reported on Friday.
Taking to Twitter, Rao said that the venture will be “The biggest Foreign Direct Investment throughout the entire existence of Telangana. After a progression of gatherings, AWS has settled speculation of Rs 20,761 Cr ($ 2.77 Bn) to set up various server farms in Telangana. The @AWSCloud Hyd Region is relied upon to be dispatched by mid 2022,” he posted on the miniature publishing content to a blog website.
The AWS will set up an AWS Asia Pacific (Hyderabad) Region with three Availability Zones (AZs) here, an official assertion from the IT office said.
The press note added that the AZs will comprise of different server farms in discrete particular areas inside a solitary district that are designed to be operationally free of each other with autonomous force, cooling, actual security, and associations by means of a low-dormancy organization.
