April 02, 2021
Bengaluru-based media transmission firm OnMobile has driven a $13 million (almost ₹95 crore) subsidizing round in local short-structure video application Chingari, the organizations reported on Thursday.
As a part of the deal, OnMobile will coordinate and distribute its direct-to-shopper gaming platform, ONMO, on the Chingari application and team up on other mobile product integrations to serve a great many clients.
Then again, Chingari will use the assets to upgrade its content portfolio, recruit top ability and speed up its developing client base. Chingari said that the investment will assist it with boosting its growth from 56 million clients to more than 100 million clients.
“We were unable to have expected a better partner with OnMobile to help Chingari encapsulate its vision and become a content super media application for Bharat, and help draw in a billion Indians,” said Sumit Ghosh, Co-Founder and CEO of Chingari.
Earlier last year, Chingari had raised $1.4 million from a progression of financial investors.
“We are extremely amped up for this investment and organization bringing a million of clients to the new ONMO gaming service while providing quick business value and increased clients reach for both organizations,” said François-Charles Sirois, Executive Chairman of OnMobile.
