Coronavirus outbreak might wipe out $1 trillion global GDP

Coronavirus outbreak has affected the world economy brutally and there is an increase in number of deaths. Oxford economics has calculated health crisis over the world which would wipe out $1 trillion global GDP.

US stock has declined to 3% on Monday. It is expected that once the illness is completely gone the world economy will stabilize.

According to IMF, Virus will affect 0.1% from 3.3% of the global growth forecast for 2020.

Chief Economist of IMF Gita Gopinath said, “Virus outbreak is risky for the world and this could be horrible in upcoming months”.
