COVID-19 hits digital payments by 30%

Digital payment sector is getting hurt by virus outbreak in the country. Digital payment sector has seen a decline of 30% in a transaction in the last few months.

Digital transactions processed on both online as well as offline platforms are hit by the outbreak of virus while customer traffic on these platforms is still high. Travel, Hospitality and retail sectors are the sectors affected majorly by the outbreak.

Top executives of payments firms said, “Urban cities in India are hit by the outbreak of the corona virus”.
