Google-backed delivery and e-commerce firm Dunzo Digital is driving a Med-Air consortium alongside industry specialists to lead test BVLOS (Below Visual Line of Sight) drone delivery trips for the ‘Medication from the Sky Project’. The aim is to help improve access to medical care during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The drone delivery system will focus on end-to-end ecosystem for drone-based calculated transportation and use the current network organization of the state.
“Telangana is perhaps the most proactive states looking to receive emerging technologies, and the ‘Medicine from the Sky’ project using drones is in accordance with same principles,” said Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary, ITE&C Department, Government of Telangana.
