E-commerce giants could resume full operations

Ministry of Home affairs have released a revised set of guidelines for E-commerce firms where they can operate from 20th April 2020.

Previously E-commerce firms were allowed to sell only food, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. Amazon seeks clarification from centre whether it can sell non-essentials items.

Government official told ET, “According to the revised guidelines E-commerce firms can start operating from next week”.
