Facebook testing threads feature for posts
July 06, 2021
Facebook is trying new threads feature include for posts, as per reports.
The platform is trying a Twitter-like ‘threads’ include that allows clients to make and connect a new post to a past one on a connected subject. The feature is at present being tried on certain pages of public figures.
It was first spotted by social media consultant Matt Navarra who shared screenshots of how the feature looks like on Twitter. According to the screenshot, clients can tap on a ‘Create Thread’s button and create new post connected with their current post.
At the point when the new post shows up on their followers News Feeds, they will actually want to consider the to be as being connected with different posts in a thread.
Facebook has confirmed to TechCrunch that it is as of now testing the feature with a small group of “well known people” on the platform. It didn’t comment on whether the component will have a broader roll out or will be expanded to other categories of pages.
