Google will allow some COVID-19 ads on its platform

Google will allow some clients to run coronavirus ads on its platform. According to Reuters, it will allow the hospitals and medical providers to share relevant information with the public.

Google’s head of industry for elections, Mark Beatty, and first reported by Axios said in a memo, “As of now we are not allowing such type of ads on our platform which is designed to protect our users”.

The company told Reuters, “Company will allow some advertisers to run ads on its platforms”.
