IT companies focusing on elevating more women

Nirmala Menon, originator and CEO, Interweave Consulting, a variety counseling firm said, “While that is better compared to not having any, research reveals to us that the real benefit of this diversity showing up will happen just when we have in any event three female chiefs or preferably 33% of the board being females. A lone voice can without much of a stretch be lost in a male-dominated group, yet at least three ensures a huge minority which will be difficult to overlook”.

Infosys Ltd has outperformed the Sebi order by delegating two female independent directors on its board. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw is the lead autonomous chief and Chitra Nayak has been delegated an independent director effective 25 March.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Ltd additionally has two female directors on its board. While Aarthi Subramanian is the group chief digital officer and a non-independent director, Hanne Sorensen is a free chief. Nasdaq-recorded Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. has four female drectors on its board–Vinita Bali, Maureen Breakiron-Evans, Archana Deskus, and Sandra S. Wijnberg.
