KKR to invest in Reliance JIO platforms

Private Equity firm from US named KKR will invest ₹ 11,367 crores in Reliance JIO platform. The deal will give KKR a 2.32% stake, which has invested in Asia and technology funds in the latest deal.

The latest infusion follows the $5.7 billion cheques by the social media giant Facebook in last month followed by investments from various private equity firms. As of now this is the largest investment in Asia by KKR.

Globally KKR has invested in many technology companies like TikTok and Go-Jek. In India KKR has invested in Bharti Infratel, EuroKids, and Ramky Enviro Engineers. KKR has a good track record and it has been a valuable partner to industry-leading franchises.
