PVR partners IA to mentor M&E start-ups

PVR Cinemas has tied up with commercial enterprise accelerator company India Accelerator (IA) to mentor startups operating in the media and amusement area.

As part of the partnership, both will collectively provide a 16-week lengthy accelerator programme to a cohort of 5 to 7 seed-degree startups to cover regions along with ticket reserving and movie viewing, in conjunction with supporting them with investment.

Selected startups will get access to PVR-IA’s technological and commercial enterprise infrastructure, mentoring, and community-constructing opportunities, culminating in a demo day attended by way of corporates, VCs, mentors and other partners, in addition to external traders.

“There are plenty of unidentified and unexplored gaps in the film watching revel in – from deciding on the proper show and price tag booking to looking at the movie and coming lower back.
