SEBI banned 26 entities for fraudulent trading

SEBI banished 26 entities from capital market for six months due to the fraudulent and manipulative trading behaviour noticed by them.

The investigation by the regulator led them to finding out the fraudulent activities taking place inside to increase the price of the scrip of PSIT.

The scrip of the price rose from Rs 50 to Rs 466.9 during the time which manipulative trading was taking place.

This led to barring of 26 entities from capital markets which included Puspal Chandra, Dilip Kumar Mandal, Sanjoy Chandra, Mina Chandra, etc for six months by SEBI.
