ShareChat acquires video production company

ShareChat introduced it to have acquired video production organization HPF Films. The Indian social media company stated the acquisition will assist construct a better content environment with an identical recognition of the author community.
With the acquisition, HPF Films’ 25-member team has joined ShareChat. The group is running closer to growing content operations, digital advertising and marketing, and writer control for both Moj and ShareChat.
Launched in 2018, HPF Films has worked on greater than 3,500 titles throughout exceptional formats ranging from virtual classified ads to the web collection. It has also labored with brands which include Meesho, OKCredit, ixigo, and Ola among others.
Manohar Charan, VP – Corporate Development and Strategic Finance, ShareChat stated, “As ShareChat continues at the aggressive growth journey, it is crucial for us to invest and construct competencies required to maintain growth on a big base. This acquisition will assist us to construct a framework for our creators and nurture them to evolve as influencers on the platform”.
