Snapchat launched lensathon in India

Photo-messaging app Snapchat introduced a partnership with network-based platform Skillenza to deliver its first-ever Lensathon to India an online hackathon started for national participation to create Augmented Reality (AR) experiences by using Lens Studio.

Lens Studio is a free desktop app launched by way of Snapchat, that gives the equipment and templates had to construct virtual skills, create Lenses, and share them on Snapchat. Since its release, over 900,000 Lenses had been made by means of the community all around the globe. The Lensathon is an opportunity to add to this increase and breadth of stories available on Snapchat.

Juhi Bhatnagar, Strategy and Business Development Lead, India at Snap, said, “In the last year, we’ve got worked carefully with excessive schools and faculties throughout India, teaching virtual capabilities to college students through Lens Studio workshops. The Lensathon is the next step in that course”.
