Swiggy has now raised $113 million in funds

Swiggy has raised $113 million in funds in series I funding round, according to report by TechCrunch. Prosus Ventures, Meituan Dianping, and Wellington management company participated in funding.

It has a valuation of $3.6 billion and it has raised $1.57 billion till date.

Prosus Ventures is one of the biggest investors in Swiggy which invested $700 million in 2018.

Swiggy Co-Founder and CEO Sriharsha Majety said, “The company will invest in cloud kitchens and it wants to increase its profitability”.

Larry Illg, chief executive of Prosus Ventures and Food said, “Swiggy is focusing on providing best services to its customers”.
