WhatsApp introduces joinable group calls

WhatsApp has introduced new feature with the application that makes it feasible for clients to join a group voice call or group video call after it has started. The joinable calls feature makes it possible for individuals to join group calls when they can by simply going to the application’s ‘Calls’ tab.

The feature additionally carries another call information screen with it, which allows clients to see who is on the call, alongside invited users who haven’t joined yet. “Joinable calls reduce the burden of answering a group call as it starts, and brings the immediacy and ease of in-person conversations to group calling WhatsApp,” the platform said in a blog post.

Prior to the new update, clients who would miss a call warning would have to ask the caller add them again. While this technique made it workable for somebody to join the call later, it was extremely inconvenient. A caller conversing with those on who joined the call would often miss messages from those who missed it, asking for them to be re-invited.
