Zoom will roll out encryption for its paid customers

Video conferencing giant Zoom intends to reinforce encryption of video calls hosted by paying customers and foundations, for example, schools, yet not by clients of its free buyer accounts, an organization official said on Friday.

The organization, whose business has blasted with the coronavirus pandemic, examined the move onward a call with common freedoms gatherings contenders on Thursday, and Zoom security advisor Alex Stamos affirmed it on Friday.

In a meeting, Stamos said “The arrangement was liable to change and it was not yet clear which, assuming any, charities or different clients, for example, political dissidents, may fit the bill for accounts permitting progressively secure video meetings”.
