Amazon launches e-pharmacy service in India

E-commerce giant Amazon India has launched Amazon Pharmacy, marking its access into the web remedy phase that has massive received momentum throughout the covid-19 led lockdown or even after unlocking.

It has released the online pharmacy carrier in Bengaluru initially, and can conduct pilots in other cities too going ahead.

The lockdown and social distancing have precipitated customers to transport to online consultation, treatment, clinical tests and medicinal drug shipping. Healthcare startups Practo, NetMeds, 1mg, PharmEasy and Medlife are witnessing a big surge in demand and a spurt in funding pastime, just like edtech structures, which outperformed all different sectors among startups.

Amazon Spokesperson said, “To fulfill the needs of customers, company is launching Amazon Pharmacy in Bengaluru”.
