Apple announces small business programme
November 19, 2020
Apple introduced a brand new programme to help small corporations and impartial builders take their groups to the next stage on the App Store. The programme will release on January 1, 2021.
Apple says that the new application known as the App Store Small Business Programme will advantage builders who sell virtual goods and offerings on the App Store and provide them with a reduced fee on paid apps and in-app purchases. Developers can qualify for the programme and a reduced, 15% commission if they earned up to $1 million in proceeds all through the previous calendar year.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our worldwide financial system and the thrashing heart of innovation and possibility in groups round the arena. We’re launching this programme to help small commercial enterprise owners write the subsequent chapter of creativity and prosperity at the App Store, and to build the form of fine apps our customers love,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said at the occasion.
