Flipkart partners AWPO to onboard army veterans

Walmart-owned Flipkart on Thursday stated it has collaborated with the Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO) to onboard ex-Army personnel throughout its price chain. As a part of the ‘FlipMarch’ initiative, Flipkart has partnered with the AWPO to perceive and onboard decided on applicants in roles throughout the organization, it said in a statement.

Selected personnel could be provided customised induction, sensitisation programmes and curated mastering programmes to allow a continuing transition and help them research the nuances of the numerous corporate task roles, it introduced.

Flipkart’s hiring of ex-servicemen will assist provide possibilities to new career paths and offer greater options put up serving within the military, it said.
