Google backs VAaas company Slang Labs
July 20, 2021
Slang Labs, the in-application voice assistance organization that pioneered the concept of Voice Assistant as a Service (VAaaS), has raised a investment from the Google Assistant Investments program, alongside 100x Entrepreneurs, Velu Murugan, Thomas George and their current investors Endiya Partners. With this turn of events, Slang Labs becomes one of the principal major players in the In-App Voice Assistant space around the world to be backed by Google.
As technology grows more pervasive in individuals’ daily lives due to the ongoing (Covid-19) pandemic, in-application voice assistant is a promising touchpoint for e-commerce and different interactions online. Through this technology, buyers will actually want to do online transactions in their applications through the power of their voice, and in their preferred language.
“This investment by Google emphasizes the importance of voice inside applications and highlights the most significant technology pattern during the current decade Voice,” said Kumar Rangarajan, Slang Labs co-founder.
