Google Meet, the video conferencing application from Google Workspace, is getting two new features which will work on its live-streaming abilities. Google Meet clients would now be able to invite people from different areas for their live streams. Alongside this, they can likewise permit live captions for improved accessibility.
Presently, Google Meet allows clients to have live streams with up to 100,000 members. One of the hosting the live stream was that only accounts within host’s domain were permitted to be invited for these live streams.
Presently, the tech giant has added a feature which will enable the administrators of the domain to allow cross-domain live streaming. With the rollout of this feature, the administrators will have the ability to invite guests can from a trusted Workspace domain.
Apart from this, Google has also added support for captions on live streams and this will go about as a great accessibility feature for the deaf and hard of hearing clients. It will likewise allow clients to follow the live stream even if their audio is turned off.
