Google Pay introduces tap-to-pay feature for SBI card holders

India’s biggest credit card issuer SBI Card reported a coordinated effort with Google to empower clients to utilize their cards on Google Pay platform.

Clients will currently have the option to make card installments utilizing Google Pay application on their Android cell phones in three modes – through tap-and-pay at close to handle correspondence (NFC) empowered retail location terminals, by checking Bharat QR code at the trader just as online installments without utilizing the physical credit card.

The launch is in accordance with SBI Card’s undertaking to advance zero contact, computerized types of installments for safe and upgraded client experience. The brand has a client base of more than one crore.
