Google to launch free learning tools for schools in Maharashtra

Maharashtra has to turn out to be the first Indian country to collaborate with Google India within the state-wide deployment of its Google for Education era. As a part of the partnership, Google will roll out G-Suite for Education and Google Classroom technology, free of price, equipping over 2.3 crore teachers and college students in the state.

State’s Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said, “I am proud that Maharashtra has end up the first state in India to take the first step”.

The platform will also provide instructor training and free resources around distance learning contracts for educators.

Bani Paintal Dhawan, Head of Education, India, and South Asia, Google India said, “G Suite for Education and Google Classroom will make remote gaining knowledge of less complicated will permit instructors to teach classes in synchronous and asynchronous mode and live connected with their students”.
