Google Wifi app getting rolled out
April 05, 2021
Google is purportedly closing down its devoted Google Wifi application for dealing with its switches and turning that usefulness over to the Google Home application to help clients control and deal with all their associated items in a single spot.
The switchover to the Google Home application will come in two platforms first, Google will impair the majority of the usefulness of the Google Wifi application on May 25.
Starting then, clients might have the option to see the current status of their organizations, however any changes, including adding new routers or passageways, should be done in the Google Home application.
At that point, Google will eliminate the Wifi application from the Play Store and iOS App Store, piping all clients to only utilize the Google Home application in June, the report said.
Google has been dealing with this change since 2019, when it launched the Nest Wifi switches, which must be arranged in the Google Home application.
