Junio, pocket money app launched for children

Junio, a digtal pocket money application for kids, has set shop in India after raising ₹10 crore and plans to have 5 million clients in at any rate four years.

The startup collected the cash in a heavenly messenger round that had Cred originator Kunal Shah, Bharat Pe CEO and prime supporter Ashneer Grover, PolicyBazaar CEO Yashish Dahiya, InnoVen Capital MD and CEO Ashish Sharma, and Groww fellow benefactor and CEO Lalit Keshre, among others.

Junio, which is founded by former Paytm chiefs Shankar Nath and Ankit Gera, is the first application that helps pre-adolescents and youths to assume responsibility for their own pocket cash and reserve funds with the assistance of guardians. It means to support monetary information and order in youths.

“A youth centered payment platform is another idea in India and a space that is neglected. Presently, as we are moving towards a credit only economy, the popularity of the digital payments space will develop like never before in the years to come. We are excited to launch a first-historically speaking children centered digital pocket cash application in the nation,” said Gera.
